SmartMotion Technology wants you to be completely satisfied with your SwingChair. If you are not satisfied, simply notify us within 30 days of receiving the chair and we will send you a Return Materials Authorization number and complete visual instructions for safely returning the chair to us.

SwingChair’s mechanism is warranted to be free of defects for 5 years from the date we deliver it to you. The seat, backrest and armrest cushions, together with the base, casters and gas lift, are warranted to be free of defects for a period of 2 years. Should any part of your chair fail to perform to specifications, we will repair or replace it.

Q. The History of the SwingChair

SwingChair is the invention of Hector Serber. Manufacturing began in 2004. Since that time, tens of thousands of customers have discovered why SwingChair is the best chair for bad backs. The company has been headquartered in northern California since its inception, where the concentration of high tech workers and leading universities studying health and wellness provided SmartMotion and Mr. Serber with a wealth of information from which to develop its technology and products.

Q. Technical Validation of SwingChair

SwingChair was cited by two highly published authors at the 2011 Ergonomics Conference as the single best example of a chair that prevents the static postures and repetitive strain that cause injury to people who must sit for long periods of time. They described how the use of PMRI (Positional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) allowed researchers to see and understand, for the first time ever, how static postures load the spine and cause actual shredding of the ligaments in the low back.
